As of October 21, 2024, COLTech now mentors Santan Elementary School's three FLL teams---Santan Dust Storm Chasers 67334, Santan Lightning Storm Chasers 68104, and Santan Thunderstorm Chasers 68116. COLTech will return to San Tan every other Monday to continously help them improve and thrive in the highly competitive FLL community.

On August 13th, 2024, COLTech attended the Microchip Masters event. The team showed off the robot and what we do as an FRC team. The team explained the competition and got to visit with Microchip employees and other FIRST teams.

On February 22, 2023, COLTech Robotics traveled to our local elementary school and showed our robot to their girl scouts troop. This was our first event where we brought our robot outside of our school. The girls were very interested in our work, especially when we drove it around. They also learned about the true meaning of FIRST and Coopertition.

Overall, it was a very fun experience that allowed us to show off our progress as a rookie team to our community. A few of the girls even said that they would join 9059 when they are in high school!

Every year, our city has an enlightening innovation fair. In 2023, we went and brought our robot. We met many people from different backgrounds in STEM, and showcased our working robot in a grandiloquent manner.

On May 11, 2023, COLTech traveled to another local school, Hull Elementary. There, we visited the school's VEX IQ team. We taught the young students about FIRST and this year's challenge: Charged Up. All of the students were fascinated by our robot, and multiple of them have plans to attend Casteel High School and become future COLTS and help become leaders of tomorrow.
